Conference

The international conference »PARTICLES 2025« focuses on particle-based methods in engineering and applied sciences. The aim is to present and discuss fundamental principles, new trends and modern techniques of these methods. Examples of particle-based methods are the Material Point Method (MPM), Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH), Moving Particle Simulation (MPS), Particle Finite Element Method (PFEM), Lattice-Boltzmann Method (LBM), Discrete Element Method (DEM) and Molecular Dynamics (MD). The conference is part of ECCOMAS and is recognized as a special interest conference of the IACM.
