EU/Me Meeting X Quantum School: Emerging Optimization Methods
– From Metaheuristics to Quantum Approaches
This year's meeting of the European Metaheuristics Community (EU/ME) takes place in Germany and is dedicated to innovative optimization methods at the interface of metaheuristics and quantum-based approaches. The focus will be on current advances that modern technologies are using to open up new ways of solving complex challenges.
The event is divided into three main topics:
- Quantum conference sessions focusing on »Quantum Applications for Optimization Problems«.
- EUME conference sessions focusing on »Last Advances on Metaheuristic«
- Summer Academy focusing on »Quantum Optimization« for PhD students
We cordially invite interested researchers and PhD students to submit their contributions for the session »Quantum Applications for Optimization Problems«. These can be papers in the context of the doctorate or contributions from students in their first year of study on their respective doctoral topic. There will also be certificates of attendance for participation in the Summer Academy.
The conference is organized by the EWG Quantum OR (a EURO working group), the University Kaiserslautern-Landau RPTU and our institute, which is also the venue.
